CUSTOM AREAS DESIGN, CUSTOM BOWLING ALLEY FOR THE WHITE HO– USE

The Client: BPAA – Bowling Proprietor Association of America – Arlington, Texas – 2008

The job: The Bowling Proprietors’ Association of America, Inc. is a non-profit organization — the only one in the world — that serves the specific, yet diverse, interests of bowling center owners. With the mission of  enhancing the profitability of all members, BPAA is committed to ensuring that the staff and financial resources of the association are directed towards leading members and their centers into the future of the bowling and entertainment industry.

What we did: On the occasion of the election of President Barack Obama to the White House in 2008, the Bowling Proprietors Association of America – leading advocate for the bowling industry in the United States, asked Us Design Lab to update and restyle the old Nixon-era bowling alley inside the White House in Washington, D.C. . The job involved the re-design of the existing bowling area and the refitting of the space as a multipurpose entertainment area, fully equipped for bowling, video projections and informal meetings. Our team created the whole design concept and space mood, interior décor, custom furniture and 3D rendering of the project.
